DATA PROTECTION

We inform you, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Personal data will be processed by the GAMHE research group at the Centre for Automation and Robotics and incorporated into the processing activity «General Information Inquiries,» which aims to handle the inquiry submitted. This purpose is based on the exercise of the competencies of this organization.

Personal data may be communicated to other competent services of other administrations when necessary to address your inquiry. The data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

Among these obligations is the appointment of a data protection officer and notification to the AEPD. The data protection officer of the CSIC is José López Calvo.

The regulations also require that the inventory of processing activities be made publicly available electronically. The CSIC has fulfilled other existing data protection requirements, including the creation of internal procedures for reporting any security breaches, conducting risk analyses, adopting appropriate security measures based on detected risks, and performing «privacy impact assessments» in cases where risks have been considered, mainly related to data processing within certain research projects.
