Today we had the pleasure of receiving a visit from Arganda municipality, manufacturing companies and general public interested in the GAMHE laboratory. We show the opportunities offered by FORTIS and PowerizeD projects.
We conducted a demonstration with a collaborative robot and showcased the advancements proposed by FORTIS in the field of artificial intelligence applied to human-robot collaboration and human-robot interaction. Communication of potential business opportunities is a key step for exploiting FORTIS. Also, we explained the opportunities offered by PowerizeD and the main objectives and challenges. PowerizeD focuses on improving the way energy is generated and transmitted through the use of digitized and intelligent power electronics. The approach integrates control, driver, and switching functions to enhance performance by using new circuit models, advanced control strategies, and AI, aiming for robust and reliable operation. It emphasizes the intelligence of power electronics, thereby contributing to the decarbonization of European society and climate protection. GAMHE contribution to this project consists of the design and development of reliability models based on machine learning strategies for extending the useful life of FAGOR Automation power regulators.
